Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Proven experience as a billing clerk or in a similar financial administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- xperience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in billing and accounting software; experience with logistics systems such as CargoWise or SAP is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Audit and verify the accuracy of invoices related to international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and transportation services.
- Ensure all charges, tariffs, and rates are correctly applied according to customer contracts and service agreements.
- Reconcile discrepancies between operations data, vendor invoices, and customer billing.
- Communicate with internal departments (operations, sales, customer service) to resolve billing issues or missing documentation.
- Process and generate customer invoices in a timely manner using [insert billing system/software, e.g., SAP, CargoWise, etc.].
- Maintain organized records of billing and invoice documentation.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and provide supporting documentation when needed.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting as required.
- Continuously improve billing processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Candidate must be experience in billing, invoicing, data entry and coding. Must have logistics background
