Pay/hours for position




Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay: $20-$22/hour; Full-time
Requirements of position



  • Must be Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Computer skills (MS Word & Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
 
Responsibilities of position




Performs various tasks as assigned by the Credit & Collections Manager to reduce the balance of our A/R account and establishes the credit for new customers. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
 
  • High volume of daily collection calls and/or emails.
  • Process credits for shorted or damaged deliveries.
  • Account Reconciliation.
  • Scan credit applications and file them in the company shared drive.
  • High volume of incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Very busy and fast paced environment.
  • Revise invoices for customers.
  • Pick up paperwork from the warehouse and file.
  • Take payments for prepaid accounts.
  • Release accounts on hold.
  • Put accounts on hold for non-payment.
  • Approve credit applications.
  • Reactivate accounts.
  • Various projects as assigned by Manager.
  • Send missing invoices to customers.
  • Go through driver paperwork to check for possible credits.
  • Generate credit memos in Excel.
  • Work assigned accounts and help resolve payment issues.
