Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equal experience in supply chain management, logistics, international business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in AIR EXPORT FREIGHT FORWARDING or logistics, with a strong understanding of export procedures, documentation, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to identify and address challenges in the export process.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of INCO terms, international trade compliance, and customs regulations preferred.
- Certification in air freight forwarding or related areas (e.g., IATA certification) is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate shipment schedules and client needs.

Responsibilities of position
|

|
|
- Coordinate air export shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
- Communicate with clients to gather shipment details, provide updates, and address any concerns or questions.
- Arrange bookings with airlines and negotiate rates to optimize cost-effectiveness while meeting client requirements.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely clearance of goods through customs procedures.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of export shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.
- Stay updated on changes in export regulations, trade compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize service quality.
