Location: Broadview, IL
Job Requirements:
- 1 year of packing operator experience
- Setup machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, monitors to assure all is running efficiently.
- Monitor and assist with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.
- Follow packaging schedule, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning, weights, packs, descriptions, Best Buy dates, cleanup, and changeovers
- Observe all plant safety, GMP and allergen procedures and attend appropriate training sessions.
- Clean machines and work area properly during and after production runs or changeovers
- Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following GMP, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements
- Reportall food safety and quality issues to your supervisor
- Must be able to communicate with others as well as management
understand FDA guidelines and company policies.
- Mathematical skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Understand and follow Food Safety policies.
- Ability to work in a standing position for entire shift and climb steps and ladders.
