Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift        
 
Position Location



Melrose Park, IL 
 
Pay/hours for position




Pay Range: $28.00-$32.00 per hour based on experience 
Shift/Hours:  2:00pm-11:00pm 
 
 
 
Requirements of position



  • 2-5 years’ of industrial maintenance  experience in industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred. 
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.
  • Ability to perform the following: standing for extended periods of time; walking, lifting, climbing, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds frequently
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible work hours
  • High School Diploma
  • Welding, MIG, TIG, Stick a plus.

Leading food company is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to work in their Melrose Park, IL facility. 
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime; responsible for set up, adjustment, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Doing maintenance and Support Equipment (Ovens, Packing lines, Conveyors, etc.)
  • Plumbing, Pneumatic Hydraulics, Cutting.
  • Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Electrical, PLC Diagnostics a plus.
