The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a 2nd Shift - Lead Maintenance Tech to work at a company located in the Itasca, IL area!

Position Location



Itasca, IL  
 
Pay/hours for position




2nd Shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM (Monday to Friday Must be open to work weekends)
Pay is $36.00/per hour with  $0.50 shift differential
 
 
Requirements of position



 
 
2 years – Lead Maintenance Experience 
Food Preferred 
 
 
Responsibilities of position




 2nd Shift - Lead Maintenance Tech
Location: Itasca, IL  
Shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM (Monday to Friday Must be open to work weekends)
Pay: Pay is $36.00/per hour with  $0.50 shift differential
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  1. 2 years of     maintenance lead experience.
  2. Food industry – preferred
  3. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all equipment including, but not limited to, Rheon’s, Conveyors, proof boxes, Handyman stuffer, mixers, metal detectors, packaging machines, heat tunnels, refrigeration systems, forklifts, building and building equipment.
  4. Lead continuous improvement skills and is approachable
  5. Help lead 5S projects to standardize maintenance practices and processes
  6. Assist in training employees on operation of equipment
  7. Provide continual support to production, bakery, assembly packaging and warehouse maintain a PM program with supporting documentation
  8. Other duties as need by the operation
  9. Reports directly to Maintenance Manager while taking some direction from Production Supervisors
  10. On floor time= 100% (floor is inclusive of production floor, shop, outside, building, etc.)
  11. Must always work in a safe manner and use LOTO
  12. Must be knowledgeable of all HACCP, GMP's, OSHA, and SOP requirements

Education and Experience:
 
  • High school degree or equivalent. 
  • 2 years of  maintenance lead experience.
  • Food industry – preferred 
  • Language Skills: Read, writ, and speak English.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Able to communicate and take direction from Maintenance Manager.
  • Able to communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
