Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably in aluminum fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques specific to aluminum.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Strong understanding of metal properties and welding safety practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce clean, precise welds.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Welding certification(s) preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities of position
|

|
|
|
|
- Perform MIG, TIG, and other aluminum welding processes to join, fabricate, or repair metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to determine project requirements.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, tools, and fixtures.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Grind, smooth, or finish welds as needed to meet project specifications.
- Ensure safe handling of materials and adherence to workplace safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to weld quality or equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to meet production goals.
