Requirements of position
Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including overseeing daily operations related to shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control. Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination, including freight management, fleet oversight, and dispatching to ensure timely delivery and pickup. Coordinate production planning with manufacturing teams to align warehouse activities with overall supply chain demands. Ensure accurate documentation of freight movements, shipping & receiving records, and inventory transactions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process analysis using supply chain management best practices such as demand planning and inventory management.
