Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing furniture distribution team. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring that productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in furniture distribution or a similar high-volume warehouse environment, and be bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively lead and communicate with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of up to 10 warehouse associates, including pickers, loaders, and material handlers.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations from receiving to shipping, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Focus on productivity, employee training, and process execution to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and service goals.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to reinforce procedures and improve performance.
- Track and report productivity metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with management on staffing needs, scheduling, and process improvements.
- Resolve operational issues and support team members to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Ensure all company policies and safety protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Lead, or Team Leader (required).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – must be able to communicate effectively with all team members.
- Experience in furniture distribution or large-scale warehouse operations strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate employees to meet productivity goals.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard inventory control procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full shift (5 AM until completion)
