Requirements of position

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is often preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar role is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack); certifications are a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS) or basic computer skills for data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull for extended periods during shifts.
- Comfortable working at various heights (if operating certain equipment or stocking high shelves).
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and environments (e.g. noise).
- Forklift certification
- Experience with RF scanning technology
- Basic math skills for inventory counts
- Problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities of position
|

|
|
|
|
Receive incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and inspecting for damage.
Unload materials and products from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts).
Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper shelving and stacking.
Tag and label merchandise for organizational and tracking purposes.
- Pick and retrieve items from stock according to customer orders and company standards.
- Accurately pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring product integrity and proper labeling.
- Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickup and delivery.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by regularly updating stock levels and conducting cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or quality issues to management.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by sweeping, mopping, and ensuring clear aisles.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance needs or hazards promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed, including general labor and facility support.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
