- Sunday – Thursday
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Truck Loaders to join a busy food distribution operation in Brooklyn, NY. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and attendance.
The ideal candidate will have experience loading and unloading trucks in a warehouse environment and be comfortable operating material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load food products onto outbound trucks accurately and efficiently
- Unload incoming shipments and stage product for distribution
- Operate forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks (EPJ) safely
- Verify product quantities and ensure proper load placement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and food handling guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required
- Experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) is a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift, move, and stack products throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or truck loading experience preferred
