We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tablet Machine Operator to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining Fette tablet press machines to produce high-quality pharmaceutical tablets in accordance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards.Key Responsibilities: - Operate, monitor, and adjust Fette tablet press machines during production runs.
- Set up and perform changeovers of tooling and formats for different products.
- Ensure machines are running efficiently and within defined quality parameters.
- Perform in-process checks such as tablet weight, thickness, hardness, and appearance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of batch records, logbooks, and cleaning records in compliance with cGMP.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and communicate with maintenance for complex repairs.
- Clean equipment and processing rooms following strict cleaning protocols to avoid cross-contamination.
- Comply with all safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating tablet press machines in a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with Fette tablet presses (e.g., Fette 1200, 2200, or newer models) strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with automated weight control systems and tooling calibration.
- Ability to read and interpret batch records and technical drawings.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production documentation.
Physical Requirements: Requires frequently standing, bending, lifting, rolls 50- to 100 kg drums with powder, exposure to dust, exposure to noise, using ladders. |
