WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience (background in Manufacturing, Aviation, or Hospitality industries preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s or CPA a plus!).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition.
  • Sharp analytical skills with an eagle eye for discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) and a love for spreadsheets and Excel.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for getting things right the first time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Prepare and review journal entries to support month-end and year-end closings.
  • Reconcile balance sheets regularly to safeguard company assets and liabilities.
  • Manage daily financial transactions, research discrepancies, and keep records spotless.
  • Oversee intercompany accounts and ensure reimbursements are current and correct.
  • Partner with operational staff to support financial needs like petty cash, credit cards, and vendor relations.
  • Assist with operational and financial audit fieldwork.
  • Help automate and optimize financial processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish rock-solid financial policies.
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build a strong, scalable structure.
  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends that impact financial reporting integrity.
  • Review A/R and A/P aging reports to forecast cash flow needs and seasonality trends for executive leadership.
