Pay/hours for position 

Payrate: $22-$24/hr. Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm 

Requirements of position 

Jobsquad is looking for a highly organized, creative, and motivated Special Events Coordinator to lead event planning, marketing, sponsorships, and revenue generation. This role is key to ensuring events run smoothly and successfully while helping grow community engagement and support. 

Qualifications: 

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

• Experience in event planning, marketing, or related fields preferred. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 

• Comfortable working with vendors, volunteers, and sponsors. 

Responsibilities of position 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work with committees and leadership to plan, produce, and manage events, including revenue generation and sponsorships. 

• Create and manage timelines, programs, and task lists for all company-hosted events. 

• Organize committee recruitment, event logistics, marketing materials, and social media promotion. 

• Negotiate services with vendors, book event spaces, arrange food/beverages, and coordinate audiovisual equipment. 

• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for events. 

• Manage onsite production, setup, and cleanup as needed. 

• Develop and secure sponsorship packages; maintain follow-up with sponsors, vendors, and staff. 

• Maintain attendee databases, registration, and check-in processes. 

• Ensure post-event thank-you letters and reporting are completed. 

• Meet goals and support overall event success.
