Join a growing seafood production team! We are hiring dependable, hardworking individuals for a 1st Shift Smokehouse Production Associate position. This role is responsible for preparing fish for the smoking process by hanging products on racks, monitoring quality, and assisting with smokehouse operations in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hang fish on smoke racks for the smoking and drying process.
- Remove finished product from racks after processing.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Lift, move, and organize product throughout the production area.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, food production, or seafood processing experience is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently reach above shoulder level while handling product throughout the workday.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance are required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
