The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Bi-Lingual Slicing Room Attendant to work at a company located in the Pompano Beach, FL area!
Job Title: Bi-Lingual Slicing Room Attendant
Job Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: Pay: $15.50 per hour
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Job Description: We are seeking dependable Slicing Room Attendants to join our food production team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are committed to quality, safety, and teamwork.
Please note: This position is performed in a refrigerated work environment. Candidates must be comfortable working around raw fish and using knives to trim and cut fish products as part of the daily job duties.
Responsibilities
Slice, trim, and package fish products using knives and other production tools.
Follow production specifications to ensure product quality and consistency.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Follow all food safety, quality, and company procedures.
Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy.
Keep the production line supplied and operating efficiently.
Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous food production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Must be comfortable working in a cold, refrigerated environment.
Must be comfortable handling and working around raw fish throughout the shift.
Ability to safely use knives or willingness to learn proper knife handling techniques.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Reliable attendance with a strong work ethic.
Must be bilingual in either English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole.
