The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Short Term)  to work at a company located in the Holt, MI area!

Pay/hours for position





Payrate: $17/hr
 
Shift: Full-time (Short Term, approximately 2-4 weeks)
Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Requirements of position




Skills and Qualifications: 
  1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
  2. Work in environments that may be hot, dusty, or involve chemicals.
  3. Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally sit at a computer.
  4. Follow company quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
  5. Work safely and follow all plant safety rules and PPE requirements.
  6. Report any injuries or safety concerns immediately.
  7. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  8. Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
 
Responsibilities of position





Responsibilities: 
  1. Build shipping crates and package parts for customer shipments.
  2. Arrange shipping methods or follow customer shipping instructions.
  3. Move finished goods from production to the warehouse and keep inventory organized.
  4. Maintain accurate labels and storage locations for all finished goods.
  5. Prepare and verify packing lists and bills of lading for outgoing shipments.
  6. Check incoming materials for accuracy and deliver them to the correct department.
  7. Keep all shipping and receiving paperwork organized for invoicing.
  8. Communicate with purchasing when packaging supplies are needed.
  9. Coordinate with production on completed work and incoming materials.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
