Position Overview
We are seeking a is seeking an organized and dependable Shipping Clerk to prepare, verify, and process outgoing shipments in a fast-paced nutraceutical manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and compliance with cGMP, safety, and warehouse procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer orders for shipment
- Verify products, quantities, lot numbers, and shipping documents
- Create shipping labels, packing slips, and bills of lading
- Coordinate pickups with carriers and drivers
- Inspect orders for accuracy and damage before shipment
- Stage, wrap, label, and organize pallets
- Enter shipment information accurately into the company system
- Maintain shipping records and inventory documentation
- Communicate shipment delays or discrepancies to management
- Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and inspection-ready
- Follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, PPE rules, and safety procedures
- Assist with loading and other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred
- Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic manufacturing is a plus
- Familiarity with shipping documents and carrier systems preferred
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required
