- MUST be bilingual English-Spanish to be considered, and comfortable working in a cold storage environment. Temperatures will range from 35-40 degrees in the packaging room (and) to -5 (negative 5) degrees in the freezer area. ( SEE JOB DESCRIPTION BELOW ).
- Monday-Friday 7:00am—3:00pm - or finish -as required daily.
- First day only- start at 6:30am
Basic Purpose:
This position is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness and housekeeping of site including interior building and exterior grounds. This position is also responsible for food safety procedures in order to maintain a quality and safe product
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain general site and warehouse cleanliness
- Perform daily cleaning assignments
- Follow Master Sanitation Cleaning Schedule to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning assignments.
- Follow up with FSQA manager when any task was not completed to reschedule and document the reason why was not completed and the date of completion.
- Proper use, dilution and handling of chemicals.
- Report when supplies are needed
- Adheres to safe work practices, follows GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that site is maintained in order to maintain SQF Certification.
- Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
- Inspect and report nonconformities regarding rodent control stations.
- Complete the proper paperwork required of the position.
- Lots of walking around is required
