Requirements of position



• High School diploma or equivalent required• Strict adherence to confidentiality obligations and protecting sensitive information.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and ability to work effectively with broad range of audiences (seniormanagement level to front-line production employees).• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Knowledge of applicable compliance obligations.• Ability to use basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurements and critical thinking, to solve practical problems.• Good judgement and decision-making ability.• Ability to use specialized computer software and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.• Capable of prioritizing and executing projects with minimal supervision• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety-orientedEffective 7.1.22 Job Description | Human Resources Assistant Page 2• Perform additional duties and assist with other projects as requested.• Experience supporting hourly manufacturing workforces• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and employment law compliance or interest in gaining certifications as you grow in this role• Ability to balance compliance, people leadership, and operational priorities• Safety leadership and compliance management• Employee relations and conflict resolution• Continuous improvement mindset Physical Requirements:• Frequent use of word processing and other computer programs, and other stationary work at an office workstation for extended periods of time• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.• Must be able to effectively communicate with managers, employees, and others in person and by phone.   
 Responsibilities of position




Safety & Compliance• Own the facility’s safety program, including OSHA compliance, training, audits, and incident reporting• Conduct safety orientations, ongoing training, and refresher programs for employees• Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans• Maintain safety documentation, logs, and reporting requirements• Partner with EHS and plant leadership to drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvementHuman Resources• Serve as the main, onsite support person for the offsite Human Resources Manager• Lead onboarding new hires and collecting and submitting required documentation• Be a coach and liaison for new hires as questions arise• Drive onsite initiatives that support employee recognition• Drive onsite initiatives that support employee mentorship• Drive onsite initiatives that support HR leadership initiatives to provide an engaging environment for our workforceCustomer & Operational Support• Support our customer service representatives with helping keep workflows organized and documented• Serve as a backup when customer service team members are out of the office• Support internal communication and cross-fu
