The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Route Driver to work at a company located in the Palm Beach, FL area!

40 hours, Monday-Friday, must be able to work Saturday as needed

  1. DOT required
  2. Valid driver’s license
  3. High school diploma or equivalent
  4. Vehicle: 16-26’ box truck
 
 
 
 
Responsibilities of position
 
 Jobsquad is currently hiring for DSD Routes for a well-known snack food company. The primary purpose of this role is to service established customers by creating an order, rotating products, and stocking shelves with snack food items. Accounts include large chain grocery stores and convenience stores. Product will be pulled from the warehouse in Palm Beach, FL and delivered throughout the area.
Deliveries will be made to Lake Worth and Lantana
DOT medical card is required
Vehicle: 12-16’ box truck
Pay: $30.00/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours, Monday-Friday, must be able to work Saturday as needed
This route has:
  1. Pay: $30.00/hr.
  • DOT Medical card is required
  • Several grocery stores and convenience stores on this route (some locations will need deliveries multiple times per week)
  • Starting payrate of $30.00/hr.
  • Schedule 40 hours, Monday-Friday, must be able to work Saturday as needed
  • Start time is typically between 5:00am-7:00am
  • Routes are designed to be 8-10 hours/day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate must be willing to perform the following tasks and meet the criteria below:
  • Must be able to drive up to a 16ft - 26-foot box truck.
  • Travel between stores in the area.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 20lbs – will be walking up and down the back of the cargo truck loading and unloading products.
  • Must be able to keep a schedule assigned to the route. Must be able to use a handheld computer.
  • Must be able to manage inventory.
  • Must be able to check-in/check-out products accurately with the receiving personnel.
