Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Proven experience operating a reach truck (certification preferred or required).
- Prior cold storage or freezer warehouse experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work extended periods in cold or freezer temperatures.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment for long shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory handling.
- Comfortable working at heights and in narrow aisle environments.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts if required.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Operate reach trucks safely in cold, freezer, and refrigerated warehouse environments.
- Load, unload, move, and stack palletized products in high-rack storage locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for outbound shipment with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Work in sub-zero temperatures while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation and cold-chain handling procedures.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements.
- Secure loads and maintain proper pallet placement to prevent product damage.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work area
