R&D PILOT LAB ASSOCIATE 

Great opportunity for a High School Graduate to work in the R&D Pilot Lab of a Fortune 500 Food Company.    Training in GMP’s, Quality, HACCP, and Food Safety will be provided for an individual interested in pursuing a career in a Manufacturing environment.     

REQUIREMENTS

100% onsite in Camden, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with Opportunity for overtime

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma required

• 2 years preferred

• Open to recent high school graduates

• Training provided regardless of experience level for individuals interested in food quality in a manufacturing environment.

 

 

 

Responsibilities of position

RESPONSIBILITIES

   100% onsite

The Pilot Plant Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Pilot Plant machinery.

 THIS IS A PHYSICALLY LABOR  INTENSIVE ROLE- Requires lifting  50 lbs, driving Forklifts and monitoring a variety of manufacturing equipment in a loud and hot environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to ingredient and component preparation, blending, filling and closing, cooking, packaging, and any other duties as assigned.

• Operates pilot plant equipment to produce product within guidelines established by Quality Assurance and to the highest possible standard of quality

• Operates, shuts down, cleans, and sanitizes equipment in the pilot plant in accordance with established procedures and follows sanitation procedures specific to chemical handling

• Performs and records operational, quality, and CIP checks to ensure food safety and quality expectations are met

• Communicates and/or escalates quality or safety issues
