Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of experience in a food, beverage, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standards required.
- Ability to read and interpret batch records, formulas, and weights accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable operating industrial mixing equipment.
- Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Work Environment
- Food and nutraceutical production facility operating under GMP and FDA standards.
- Exposure to powders, food ingredients, and machine noise.
- PPE required: hairnet, gloves, lab coat, mask, and safety shoes.
- Must follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times.

Position Summary
The Raw Material Mixer is responsible for accurately blending and mixing ingredients used in the production of food and nutritional products. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the ability to follow batch formulas and production instructions to ensure consistent product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to approved batch records and formulations.
- Load ingredients into mixers, blenders, or other processing equipment following established SOPs.
- Verify that all materials, lot numbers, and quantities match batch sheet specifications for traceability.
- Operate mixing and blending equipment safely and efficiently to achieve desired product consistency.
- Record all production data, ingredient weights, lot codes, and process parameters in batch documentation.
- Monitor equipment during operation to ensure consistent performance and report any deviations or malfunctions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of mixing equipment, utensils, and surrounding work area per GMP and food safety standards.
- Follow all GMP, HACCP, and company quality and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with setup, changeovers, and cleaning between production runs.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet internal and customer specifications.
- Support other production functions as needed (material handling, weighing, or packaging).
