Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits:
1st Shift- Mon-Fri | 6:45AM - 3PM $16hr
2nd Shift- Mon-Fri | 2:45PM- 11PM $17hr
3rd Shift- Sun-Thurs | 10:45 PM- 7 AM $17hr
4th Shift -Sat-Mon | 6:45 AM - 7 PM $16.50hr (36 hrs. worked paid at 40 hrs. worked)
5th Shift -Fri-Sun | 6:45 PM- 7 AM $17hr (36 hrs. worked paid at 40 hrs. worked)
 
Job Description:       
 
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team in Vicksburg, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The Quality Technician works closely with Process Technicians, Operators, Supervisors, and Management to monitor product quality, perform inspections and audits, document findings, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on inspection experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 

 Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation in the company database.
  • Communicate quality concerns and findings with operators, process technicians, supervisors, and management.
  • Conduct daily process and product audits and assist with corrective actions.
  • Support root cause investigations for non-conforming products.
  • Assist with containment activities, sorting, and rework verification as needed.
  • Participate in shift handoff meetings and ensure critical quality information is communicated.
  • Verify labels, packaging, lot numbers, and product traceability requirements.
  • Assist with operator training and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
 
Qualifications
 
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
 
Preferred:
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing.
