The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Quality Technician  to work at a company located in the Albion, MI area!

Quality Technician

Albion, MI
 
Pay/hours for position





Payrate: $18-21/hr (depending on level of experience)
 
Shift: Full-time
Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm
30 Min Lunch: 12pm-12:30pm
Requirements of position




Skills and Qualifications: 
  1. Proficient in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  2. Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  3. Knowledge of manufacturing methods, quality engineering, and CAD is a plus.
  4. Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to promote process improvements and support innovation.
  6. Familiarity with safety management and operations research concepts.
  7. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  8. Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
 
Responsibilities of position





Responsibilities: 
  1. Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to confirm specifications.
  2. Conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments or return items for re-work.
  3. Attempt repairs on damaged products to determine scalable solutions.
  4. Document inspection results, including re-work and waste, in reports and quality databases.
  5. Maintain measurement tools and equipment in proper working condition.
  6. Follow safety standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
  7. Stay current with industry practices through training and technical publications.
  8. Support process improvement and organizational quality goals.
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented team member to ensure the quality of materials, in-process production, and finished products. This role involves inspecting, testing, and documenting results to maintain high-quality standards while supporting safe and efficient operations.
