Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is a plus).
- 1-3 years of QA/QC experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment (nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or food industry preferred).
- Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements related to dietary supplements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality deviations.
- Ability to read and interpret SOPs, batch records, and technical documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and electronic quality systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and lift/move moderate weights if necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with quality control testing, microbiology, or analytical lab techniques.
- Knowledge of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), root cause analysis, and quality improvement processes.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor manufacturing, packaging, and labeling operations for adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
- Perform sampling, testing, and verification of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Review batch records, production logs, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and document non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that proper hygiene, sanitation, and environmental controls are maintained in production areas.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and regulatory teams to implement quality improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities.
