Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project coordination or management within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of repair and maintenance processes, including scheduling, resource allocation, and safety compliance.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP PM or Maximo.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to manufacturing maintenance, such as OSHA and ISO.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Bilingual – Spanish – English 
 
Responsibilities of position
 

 Location: Miramar, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:)0 PM

About the Role:
The Project Coordinator for Repair & Maintenance plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of maintenance projects within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of repair and maintenance activities, including planning and scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders. The coordinator will work closely with maintenance teams, vendors, and management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. By proactively identifying potential issues and facilitating effective solutions, the role helps minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Ultimately, the Project Coordinator ensures that all repair and maintenance projects contribute to the overall reliability and safety of manufacturing operations

The required skills enable the Project Coordinator to effectively plan, organize, and oversee repair and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Proficiency in project management tools and software facilitate efficient scheduling, resource tracking, and reporting, which are essential for maintaining project visibility and control. Strong communication skills are used daily to liaise among maintenance teams, contractors, and management, ensuring alignment and swift issue resolution. Organizational skills help manage multiple concurrent projects, documentation, and compliance requirements without compromising accuracy or deadlines. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of CMMS and Lean principles, enhance the coordinator’s ability to optimize maintenance workflows, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans for repair and maintenance activities, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal maintenance teams, external contractors, and suppliers to schedule and execute repair projects efficiently.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report status updates to management and stakeholders regularly.
