- · Consistent and punctual attendance each scheduled workday. Report to work fit for duty and sustains fitness throughout the day.
- · Check and verify that the pre-p checklist has been completed.
- · Train and develop Leads and Operators to maximize profitability and on-time delivery of high-quality products for the customers.
- · Oversee and direct production personnel, leads and the employees on the shift.
- · Responsible for adherence to food safety requirements pertaining to SQF, GMP and all other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations that applies.
- · Overall administrative responsibility for the shift (such as performance reviews, downtime tracking, disciplinary actions, etc.).
- · Accountable for shift production schedule, efficiency of plant, minimizing downtime and waste.
- · Reviews production/operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- · Develops, recommends and implements changes in working conditions to improve employee performance and product quality.
- · Resolves workers issues and involve management if necessary
- · Encourage a team environment with all employees by showing them respect and valuing the opinion of employees.
- · Prepares and presents production data to the Production Manager.
- · Ensures that operator reporting is done in a timely manner
- · Takes responsibility for all activities in the absence of Senior Management.
- · Ensures that all data collection is being captured by operators on the following categories: breakdowns, short stops, test time, defrost time, cleaning time, pieces per hour, etc.
- · Responsible for all aspects of the line, packaging and ensures that all lines are running to standard.
