Job Location: Vero Beach, FL
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: 17.00/hr AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
PM Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM
Job Description: A leading fresh citrus company in Vero Beach is hiring Production Workers to support the packing and handling of fresh oranges, grapefruit, and other citrus products.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on production position involving stacking, dumping, and moving citrus and materials throughout the packing operation.
Job Duties
- Stack and move boxes, bins, and packaged citrus products
- Dump citrus into production equipment
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Perform repetitive physical production tasks
- Keep the production area clean and organized
- Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Perform other production duties as assigned
Work Environment
- Work in a refrigerated, temperature-controlled production setting
- This is not a cold-storage/freezer position
- Employees should be comfortable working in cooler temperatures for extended periods
- Fresh food production and packing environment
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Previous warehouse, production, food processing, or packing experience is a plus
- Must be comfortable working around fresh food products and in a refrigerated environment
