Schedule: Monday-Friday (FT 6:00am-3:30pm) (PT 8:30am-1:30pm)
Position Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary
The Processing Employee is responsible for the preparation, slicing, spicing, packaging, and overall presentation of ready-to-eat smoked seafood products. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency within the production environment.
Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
· Lift up to 35 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
· Work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 55°F).
· Stand, bend, twist, push, and lift consistently during the workday.
· Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including smock, hair net, apron, gloves, boots, hearing protection, and face mask.
· Apply spices to products as needed based on specifications.
· Feed salmon fillets into slicing machines and remove sliced portions for packaging.
· Operate Multivac and other processing equipment once properly trained.
· Place sliced salmon sides into bags for vacuum packaging and operate vacuum pack machines.
· Load Multivac machines with product for packaging and ensure product flow efficiency.
· Weigh products accurately using scales to ensure correct portioning.
· Transport finished product trollies to coolers and blast freezers.
· Participate in scheduled stretch breaks and end-of-day department cleanup.
· Complete all required paperwork clearly, accurately, and on time.
· Follow all safe work, food safety, and sanitation standards.
· Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and our Code of Conduct, Vision, and Values.
· Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
