- Ability to read and understand batch sheets, formulas, and SOPs.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately weigh materials.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Skills
- Knowledge of GMP and production safety protocols.
- Ability to use weighing equipment, mixers, and material handling tools.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Time management and organizational skills.
Work Environment

Responsibilities of position
|

|
|
| The Pre-Weigher / Cosmetic Compounder Associate is responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and preparing raw materials used in the production of cosmetic batches. This role supports compounders by ensuring precise ingredient preparation, maintaining batch records, and upholding safety and GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Weighing Duties
- Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to batch sheets and formulas.
- Label and stage pre-weighed materials for batch production.
- Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, and material quality prior to use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pre-weighing area.
- Operate scales, mixers, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Compounding Support
- Assist Compounders in preparing ingredients for mixing.
- Transfer pre-weighed materials to the compounding area.
- Assist with batch setups, mixing, blending, and heating processes as needed.
- Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and equipment performance under supervision.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete batch records accurately and legibly.
- Follow all GMP, SOP, and safety guidelines.
- Report any material discrepancies, equipment issues, or deviations.
Safety & Quality
- Wear proper PPE at all times (goggles, gloves, lab coat, etc.).
- Prevent cross-contamination by following sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
