- Experience in shipping/receiving operations is a must.
- Forklift certification or proven ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and carriers.

| Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shipping Picker/Packer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all shipping fulfilment responsibilities.
- Package orders, weigh packages, assign labels, and organize shipments for delivery.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting coworkers as needed.
- Verify incoming shipments by cross-checking invoices with deliveries.
- Operate forklifts to move pallets to storage or load onto trucks.
- Transfer jobs from Quality Control to the shipping area for boxing, palletizing, and wrapping.
- Ensure Job Orders are complete and verified by Quality Control before shipping.
- Use packing materials such as shrink wrap, seal foam, bubble wrap, and paper machines.
- Create packing slips, bills of lading, calculate freight charges, and select appropriate carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTLs).
- Communicate with LTL carriers to coordinate timely pickups.
- Prepare orders for upcoming shifts and report completed tasks to the Operations Manager.
