| Our client has a Temp Role for a Payroll Analyst, Mon-thru Friday on site in Camden, NJ, 8:30am – 5:00 pm.
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Advanced multi-state payroll, multi-pay cycle processing, payroll tax and accounting skills experience
- 2+ years payroll experience in a large, multi-state manufacturing environment preferred
- ADP Services preferred
- Workday (Payroll) experience, preferred
- Kronos Time/Attendance preferred
- Larger payroll platform experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and work with other teams to meet deadlines
- Ability to remain flexible, positive and enthusiastic to change and new assignments

Responsibilities of position
|

|
|
|
|
| RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing priorities, in depth knowledge of payroll operations and time management
- Advanced knowledge of time and attendance, garnishments, complexity within gross to net calculations, payroll taxes, general ledger and their impact on the financials.
- Manage improvement initiatives across end-to-end payroll including time and attendance, garnishments, FLSA and policy.
- Responsible for Customer service metrics for payroll including performance management to support operating model.
- Interact with all levels of employees, tax agencies, outsourced vendors in an effective manner.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team to develop and implement solutions, after diagnosing issues serving as subject matter expert.
- Oversee all aspects outsourced vendor, third-party supplier groups.
- Advanced Payroll operational knowledge to ensure payroll accuracy, time/attendance, garnishments and tax compliance related to accountability for driving supplier’s overall performance, continuous improvements, and corporate initiatives, tax updates, set-ups, system enhancements.
