| Requirements of position

|
| · This position is responsible for operating scales, baggers and associated belts and conveyors used in the packaging of “ready to eat” leafy greens for food service and retail packs.
· Additionally, this person will ensure the equipment is kept and maintained in a clean, working order.
· Must also be able to perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
· Must be able to perform minor maintenance on the equipment and must immediately alert maintenance to any issues requiring more advanced knowledge.
· Must understand how to adjust equipment to perform adequately with different commodities and different SKUs.
· This position will also be responsible for an accounting of all film, bagger ribbon and other supplies used during the shift.
· This position is also responsible for ensuring all coding on bags, boxes and labels is correct.
· Must follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality requirements and report any food safety concerns immediately.
· The packaging operator must assure the equipment is properly set up to achieve daily production goals.
· Be willing to assist with any other duties as assigned by the Packaging Room Supervisor.
· Complies with all company policies, including food safety, workplace safety, quality assurance, sanitation, attendance, and harassment-free workplace policies.
