The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for Packaging Machine Operators to work 1st and 2nd Shifts at a food company in Northlake, IL.

Pay/hours for position




Compensation:  $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience 
Hours: 
1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm 
2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm

      
 
                
 
The JobSquad Solutions Team are currently looking for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts Packaging (Machine) Operator  to work at a leading food company located in Northlake, IL.
 
 
Requirements of position



 
Experience needed for the role: 
  1. Must have some experience with operating and maintaining packaging machines and ensuring the entire production line is running efficiently. 
  2. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  3. Must be able to understand and speak English. 
  4. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
 
 
 
Responsibilities of position




 
Responsibilities include: 
  1. Setup machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, monitors to assure all is running efficiently.
  2. Operate and maintain the packaging and production machines. 
  3. Monitor and assist with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.
  4. Follow packaging schedule, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning, weights, packs, descriptions, Best Buy dates, cleanup and changeovers 
  5. Ability to clean machines and work area properly during and after production runs or changeovers 
  6. Responsible for reporting all food safety and quality issues to supervisor 
  7. Follow supervisor’s directives and be able to support the shift team as needed.
