Job Description:
The Outbound Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all outgoing materials and documentation meet customer requirements and quality standards. This role oversees daily operations, supports team members, and ensures compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect outgoing parts and materials to ensure they meet quality and customer standards
- Verify documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Review and process maintenance release certificates (e.g., 8130, EASA Form One)
- Ensure compliance with industry specifications (e.g., ATA standards)
- Accurately enter and validate data in internal systems
- Organize workflow and assign tasks to team members
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support
- Train and onboard new employees
- Oversee daily operations to ensure procedures and quality standards are followed
- Assist with scheduling and timekeeping approvals
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance on process improvements
- Perform other duties as needed
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong focus on quality and customer service
- Experience in warehouse or logistics operations (aerospace experience preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
