Duties/Responsibilities: 
Entry level machine operators in the manufacturing department will be classified as a Tier 1 Operator. The employee must be able to perform at the required level within a 90-day trial period. If the requirements are not met the employee will be terminated or the trial period extended. This decision will be made by Management and will be based on recommendations made by the Team Lead. 
Tier 1 Operator will be responsible for and required to perform the following task:
Required:
  1. Pass basic reading, writing skills entry exam 
  2. Complete understanding of all QC tests, procedures, and product and client specification training 
  3. Has successfully completed forklift training and can perform all roll handling and packaging procedures.
  4. Has completed all required Quality and Safety training and follows all guidelines.
Tasks:
  1. Perform all assigned task adhering to all IMAFLEX, USA safe work procedures.
  2. Checking product quality on all setups.
  3. Loading of all resin and additive components.
  4. Off-loading and proper storage of components not in use
  5. Ability to perform assisted setups on 3101.
  6. Purges. 
  7. Cleaning of treater and nip rolls.
  8. Must be able to read and understand the Work Order(s) assigned.
  9. Must be able to document all required information on to Work Orders and into the Sage system.
  10. Keeps work area clean and organized.
  11. Removing finish rolls from winders.
  12. Must weigh and mark all scrap boxes using the Inventory Label (PCL-0802). The label must have the correct code corresponding with the scrap using the code chart (PC#7006).
