Position Overview: The Operations Manager will provide leadership and oversight across key operational departments including Inventory Control, Dispatch, Service Centers, and Rebar Fabrication. This role is essential to maintaining efficient, high-performing teams and ensuring a clean, safe, and productive work environment. You will be responsible for strategic planning, team development, performance management, and operational execution to deliver top-tier customer service. Key Responsibilities: Lead by Example: Demonstrate and uphold our core values in all aspects of leadership and decision-making. Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day performance of all operational departments. Team Leadership: Mentor and coach department managers; lead hiring and performance development. Customer Service Excellence: Align operations to consistently exceed customer expectations. Strategic Execution: Support budget planning, performance metrics, and company goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Customer Service to support business success. Facility & Asset Management: Maintain equipment, fleet, and facility operations. Safety & Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure regulatory compliance. Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation through Lean, Six Sigma, or other process methodologies. Reporting: Deliver timely reports and KPIs to executive leadership. Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years’ experience in operations within construction materials, fabrication, or distribution Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma (preferred) Proven success in customer-focused, high-performance teams Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred) Tech-savvy with strong analytical and reporting skills Servant leadership mindset with a focus on team and community Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why Join Us?
