Job Title 

On Call Snow Shoveler 

Position Location 

?Farwell MI  

Pay/hours for position 

• Pay: $15.00 per hour. 

•  Hours: On-call — shifts can happen any time, day or night. 

• Start Date: February 

Requirements of position 

• Cold-weather gear (we provide all shoveling tools) 

• Must be reliable and ready to work whenever it snows. 

• Trustworthy and able to work well with a team. 

• Willingness to work in harsh winter conditions, often at odd hours 

• Must respond to calls promptly when snow hits (day or night) 

• Must pass pre-employment screening (including skills test, background check, and drug test) 

Responsibilities of position 

• Be on call and ready when snow is in the forecast. 

• Ride along with a plow truck and shovel at assigned job sites. 

• On jobs that don’t require shoveling, you’ll still be paid while riding along. 

• Expect a mix of active work and paid downtime (time in the truck to warm up, eat, or rest between sites) 

• Work hours and durations will vary depending on the snowfall. 

Additional Info: 

• This is not a set-schedule job — it’s fully dependent on weather. 

• You must be available and willing to work when called. 

• Great for people with flexible schedules or those looking to supplement income in the winter. 

• Start date is in November — we’ll provide training and gear lists ahead of time.
