Responsibilities of position




Pay Rate: $18/HR
Location: Hialeah Gardens, FL
1st Shift – Monday to Friday 6AM – 5PM With OT
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic with strong experience operating a milling machine (fresadora) and lathe (torno). This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, busy environment. Candidates must be physically able to work on their feet for extended periods and perform mechanical duties throughout the shift.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate milling machines and lathes with precision and safety
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly
  4. Work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain equipment efficiency
  5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
 
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Milling Machine Operator and Lathe Operator (Operador de fresadora y torno)
  2. Previous experience in a maintenance mechanic role
  3. Able to stand, walk, and work on machinery for 6–8 hours per day
  4. Comfortable working in a busy, industrial setting
  5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) or Spanish-speaking only is acceptable
  6. Must be available for overtime as needed
  7. Must be available for an in-person interview and a possible same-day mechanic test (or return for testing if needed)
