The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a MIG/TIG Welder  to work at a company located in the Albion, MI area!

Pay/hours for position
 
Payrate: $19-21/hr (depending on level of experience)
 
Shift: Full-time
Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm
30 Min Lunch: 12pm-12:30pm
Requirements of position
 
Skills and Qualifications: 
  1. Previous experience with MIG and TIG welding (5+ years) 
  2. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings 
  3. Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and techniques 
  4. Strong attention to detail and quality 
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  6. Basic math and measuring skills 
  7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods 
  8. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  9. Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
 
Responsibilities of position
 
Responsibilities: 
  1. Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.) 
  2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols 
  3. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently 
  4.  Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications 
  5. Measure, cut, and prepare materials prior to welding 
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area 
  7. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment 
  8. Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines 
  9. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
