The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for an Outbound Inspector to work at a company located in the Doral area!
Responsibilities
This role is accountable for the following:
- Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of product, while meeting productivity, quality, safety, business conduct and attendance expectations.
- Effectively and efficiently use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes with a distribution center.
- Safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools, while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance.
- Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.
- Complying with policies, guidelines and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
- Actively participate in process improvements by utilizing the internal quality system.
Requirements
For this role we look for top talent who:
- Can tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust and work around moving equipment.
- Can meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements, including overtime as required.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Demonstrates pride in own work.
- Can continuously lift up to 75 pounds and be able to operate warehouse vehicles and material handling equipment.
- Can operate computerized scanning equipment.
- Can work in a team environment
- Experience so that you can hit the ground running: Must have a minimum of 6-12 months warehouse or related experience.
Education, Degree(s), or Certifications Required: Forklift, Pallet Jack
Description of Work Environment: Exposure to heat, noise dust, and working around moving equipment.
Work Schedule: M-F 9am – 6pm
