Pay/hours for position
$25.00/hr. Hours: 7am – 3:30pm
Requirements of position
· Valid Driver’s License
· 2–3 years’ experience on a Mark Andy P5 or similar flexo press.
· Strong understanding of flexographic printing, inks, substrates, and die cutting.
· Ability to set up, run, and troubleshoot the press independently.
· Experience with color matching and using basic quality tools.
· Able to read job tickets and follow production specs.
· Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
· Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
· Reliable transportation and good attendance.
· Willing to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
Responsibilities of position
· Set up, operate, and monitor the Mark Andy P5 press to produce high-quality labels.
· Handle all press setups: plate mounting, ink mixing, material threading, and die
cutting.
· Perform routine checks to maintain print quality, color consistency, and registration.
· Troubleshoot issues (web breaks, ink flow, tension) to minimize downtime.
· Complete quick, accurate changeovers based on production schedules.
· Inspect finished product using quality tools and correct defects as needed.
· Maintain proper ink viscosity and keep press and work area clean.
· Follow all safety and material-handling procedures.
· Communicate with leads and team members to meet daily production goals.
· Perform basic maintenance, repairs, and press adjustments.
· Accurately complete all production paperwork and labels.
· Assist with training new or less experienced operators as needed.
