Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Must possess good mathematical skills.
- Must have at least one year of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Adequate comprehension of the English and Spanish languages.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 70 lbs ergonomically.
- Must be able to perform required repetitive lifting tasks.
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Candidates with mechanical skills are preferred.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Experience within a Laboratory- GMP/FDA/OTC environment

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Dispenses prescribed raw materials for manufacturing and processing solid dosage form products.
- Cleans all areas and equipment to be used.
- Completes appropriate logbooks before requesting Quality Assurance clearance.
- Verifies that all necessary materials are correct, present, released, and within expiry.
- Ensures that all outer boxes, drums, and containers are free from dust and debris.
- Maintains master records, logbooks, and other documents in good condition.
- Ensures that all required information is recorded promptly and accurately.
- Ensures that official records are current at all times.
- Follow the blending procedures by adding the formula's ingredients individually.
- Pass the blend through the sieve. The batch will define the number as the final step of blending powders.
- Weighs materials and records all necessary dispensing information in master records.
- Weighs and documents the yield for all products after completion.
- Palletizes batches after processing, securing drums with stretch wrap.
- Ensures that all products leaving the department are stored in the proper areas.
- Weighs and dispenses prescribed raw materials for manufacturing and processing solid dosage form products.
- Assists the Manufacturing Operator II in ensuring that all compression equipment meets or exceeds acceptable operating standards as part of the process of generating quality finished solid dosage forms;
- Troubleshoots problems and runs the press efficiently.
- Weighs and documents the weights of completed product and rejected material.
- Stocks and sorts products for filling machine operation.
- Replenishes packaging supplies, such as bottles, caps, boxes, wrapping paper, cotton, cartons, plastic sheets, neckbands, full-sleeve ink, labels, or any other material that customers and/or managers request.
- Stops or resets machines when malfunctions occur, clears machine jams, and reports malfunctions to a supervisor
