Job Location: Grass Lake, MI
Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $24-$28 hr (Depending on level of experience)
First Shift: 5am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday (Hours may vary, weekends as needed)
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime and keep manufacturing operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Install, replace, and adjust machine components as needed
- Perform routine equipment inspections and complete maintenance documentation
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Assist with facility maintenance projects and equipment installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Previous industrial maintenance experience required
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience maintaining CNC manufacturing equipment is preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications are a plus
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings
