| Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Required:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments
Preferred:
• Technical certification, vocational training, or apprenticeship
• Experience in GMP, pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Basic PLC, VFD, or automation troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, or process utilities
• Forklift, scissor lift, or confined space training
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Clear communication with operations, QA, and management
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Adaptability in a fast-paced production environment
Work Environment:
• Manufacturing and laboratory environments
• Exposure to mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and utilities
• Standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces as required
• May require occasional off-hours or on-call support

| Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility systems and production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
Facility & Utility Support
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and vacuum systems
• Support utility infrastructure such as chillers, pumps, process gases, and exhaust systems
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and inspections
• Assist with facility upgrades, equipment installations, and layout changes
Safety & Compliance:
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and PPE requirements
• Ensure work complies with GMP, OSHA, and local regulatory standards
• Report safety hazards, equipment risks, and maintenance deviations
• Support inspections and audits by providing maintenance documentation
Operational Support:
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs during production hours
• Assist operations staff with equipment setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency
• Maintain organized maintenance areas, tools, and spare parts inventory
