1st shift pay based on Experience. 

Requirements of position

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift team at our South Bend facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance and be capable of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal production performance.

·  Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment

·  Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

·  Diagnose and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical components

·  Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

·  Assist with machine setups, installations, and improvements

·  Ensure all maintenance work meets safety and quality standards

·  Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities of position

  ·  Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance

·  Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

·  Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals

·  Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred

·  Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication a plus

·  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment

·  Dependable with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
