We are hiring an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering a salary between $85,000–$95,000 plus excellent benefits.
In this role, you will supervise maintenance employees, help keep equipment running efficiently, reduce downtime, and support production goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the maintenance team during daily operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and help find long-term solutions.
- Improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Monitor maintenance performance and downtime metrics.
- Support new product launches and equipment setup.
- Help maintain welding equipment, tooling, and robotic systems.
- Ensure maintenance materials and parts are available when needed.
- Train maintenance employees on welding and equipment processes.
- Manage employee schedules and time records.
- Follow company safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or automotive environments.
- Experience with welding and assembly operations preferred.
- Knowledge of:
- Resistance Spot Welding (RSW)
- MIG/GMAW Welding
- Projection Welding
- Experience working with robotic welding systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and CMMS systems.
- Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
