- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification preferred)
- 3+ years Maintenance Mechanic experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with packaging machinery and automated production lines
- Proven experience with equipment setup and changeovers
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Familiarity with GMP and FDA-regulated environments
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Flexibility for overtime or shift work when required

- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production and packaging equipment
- Service and repair fillers, cappers, labelers, induction sealers, mixers, conveyors, pumps, and packaging lines
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and minor electrical issues
- Perform root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Equipment Setup & Changeovers (HIGHLY IMPORTANT)
- Perform full line setups and product changeovers
- Adjust machine settings for different bottle sizes, labels, caps, and formulations
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and ready for production
- Work closely with production to minimize downtime during changeovers
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs)
- Maintain lubrication schedules, inspections, and part replacements
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Follow GMP, FDA, and safety regulations
- Support quality and compliance audits
- Ensure equipment meets regulatory standards for cosmetic/pharmaceutical production
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed
